Bienvenidos a mi Wiki! As a class, we will be able to share information, showcase our projects, collaborate with one another, read interesting articles, watch videos related to the Spanish-Speaking world, and participate in class disccussions on a variety of topics.
General expectations and advice for using the comment section
Never post personal information. This is rule number one and goes for yourself as well as your peers. This includes last name, address, phone number, school address, work address, etc. Anyone with an internet connection has the ability to read our blog, so you must protect your own and your classmates' privacy.
Do not use inappropriate language in your posts. To quote the Acceptable Use Policy, this includes: obscene, profane, lewd, vulgar, rude, inflammatory, threatening or disrespectful language, sexual implications, racial slurs, or gender-specific comments false or defamatory information about a person or organization. Again, this is a public version of our classroom; don't say anything you wouldn't say to my face. Or your mother's. Or your grandmother's.
Rules against plagiarism still apply. Quote and cite your sources appropriately. As always, if you have any questions about intellectual honesty, please come talk to me, or consult the policy in the student handbook.
Draft and save your post offline. You work hard on these posts, and you never know what can go wrong. Keep a copy on your computer that you can save as you go plus, the use of spell check is a huge bonus. You may want to write it first in Word and copy and paste into the comment box.
Email me as soon as you identify a problem. If you're having trouble posting, I'll try to walk you through it. If all else fails, bring a hard copy of your post to class. If you see something inappropriate posted to the blog, please let me know as soon as possible so I can remove it.

2) Type in a username: example Emily Rousseau would be
Username: rousseauemi (similar to your email) or erousseau
Password: last name with student Id (similar to your email)
School email: rousseauemi@ashland.k12.ma.us
DO NOT CREATE a WIKI. You are just creating a user account.
